It isn't really an ode, just a list of the things that have made my life as an exchange student much easier.
-Comedy Central's online Daily Show archive
-Garlic salt
-Anyone for whom Swedish is not their native tongue
-Northface rain jacket
-ipod
-bike (even though it cost way too much and is falling apart)
-Online streams of ESPN radio
-My guitar
For all of you who plan on going abroad soon, make sure you bring whatever you think you might want at some point during your semester/year. Although I have a nice list of things that I'm glad I have, I would kill for a bottle of Tapatio right about now. And it has only been a few weeks.
